In 2004, Rev.and Mr.Richard Roberts created the ZOE AWARD to honor individuals in the community who bring life to others. In the past seven years thirty recipiants have received and  honored with the ZoeAward.

If you know of an individual who you want to be considered for a Zoe Award you must write what and how the nominee have brought life to an individual or persons without compensation on a regular basis. How they have made a difference in the lives of others. In addition, three other persons must write to contest the same. All entries must be received by July 1st,2011. Upon review by the nominating the nominee will be notified via letter. The winners will be presentated at the 10th Annual Gala and Zoe Awards on September 23rd,2011 at Camelot by Martin’s, 13905 Central Ave, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20774. In honor of Richard C. Roberts, a giver to many, his time, talent, and financial donations to bring life to the least, the last and the lost. We have created The Richard C. Roberts Zoe Scholarship Award to students entering college. Some of the proceeds form Gala will go toward this scholarship award.  We are also seeking individual donations toward this effort. All donations are tax deductible.

The criteria: GPA:3.0 or better , A 500 word essay ” How you will make a difference in the life of others” and your goal(s) for the future how you  will reach the goal(s),  your college acceptance letter and two letters of recomendation.
